Without question this is the best make and model of motor car that I'€™ve ever experienced in my career. As a die-hard '€˜blue and white'€™ propeller badge fanatic, I'€™ve had them all, always welcome a BMW into the Carwhinley stable, even if they are never with us for long'€¦ But the X5 is always the one for me. Outstanding '€˜presence'€™ they just look timeless and fantastic. I remember seeing one in Tenerife in 2001, when they first came out'€¦ I walked around that car several times and promised myself when I grew up I'€™d have one. And when I finally got there, I wasn'€™t disappointed. Here'€™s a great example of the early '€˜new shape'€™, running and driving as she should, rolling on 20'€ Graphite grey M-Sport alloys, brand new Hankook run flats on each corner, privacy glass'€¦the best bit'€¦shes only finished in Carbon Black, arguably the best colour in my humble opinion. Like a deep, inky blue black metallic. Stunning. Full black leather and colour sat nav too. Terrible on fuel, A very un-respectable 28-30 to the gallon, but that'€™s not why you buy them ( £340 a year tax so that'€™s a relief at least) Hey, if you want mpg, get a Honda CR-V, although at best you would get 37 out of that'€¦ Bags of power, awesome that a big beast like this will perform as she does. We have just had her motd, no advisories and an interim service at Appletons in Carlisle. Pics'€¦ I have literally washed, shammied and hoovered.
