That being, a mechanically perfect 125k miles 13 year old car. Which will have a fresh 12 month MOT and 3 months mechanical warranty with myself.

This may sound odd to some, but I often get people in who want a car for fishing, shooting, tip runs, whatever who really just want a good reliable motor car that starts and runs, is reliable and good on fuel, for a budget price. And are not bothered about it looking like a Chelsea tractor as long as the price is right.
